Here to stay…
So I image googled stomach ache because that’s what I have right now (damn that spicy jambalaya). It seems that someone actually made stuffed animals of what random diseases look like… check out the various things they have from Athelete’s Foot to Ear Ache:

But this is what I have right now:
I tried on the Alpinestar TZ-1 suit yesterday and it took a good 10 min to get into. Actually it fit my leg size and length almost perfectly, and doing a little hop got my arms into the leathers fairly easily. But zipping it up… oh my. That took some creative leveraging and more [...]
I need a computer but I just bought a camcorder. What is wrong with me!?
Did some troubleshooting last night… the comp is officially out of commission. It looks like the video card as well as the mobo are dead. I can probably salvage the hard drives, optical drives, ram and fans. Other than that, everything’s going to the trash unless someone claims it! Dell here I come!
Geez what a busy but particularly awesome weekend this has been. Today I hightailed it over to Jeff’s and we got straight to work on race-prepping the NSR. And by we, I mean Jeff did the work and I watched/learned/carried tools. Not much longer before I’m bailing into the dirt and crashing into haystack barriers. [...]
My second time at a shooting range today was an awesome one. That .308 sure does a number on your shoulder but it also had the most satisfying feel. It was one of those days that were so much fun that the challenge of describing it in words is too daunting for risk of not [...]
Whoosh.
Last night I saw some bright blue flashes down the street and the ensuing boom reverberated down my entire street. And then there was silence and darkness. All power was out, even those murky yellow incandescent lamps that line suburban streets. From my front door, I could see that only the traffic lights at Bushard/Yorktown [...]
Peter Frampton? Anyways haha… I’m finally starting to ‘enjoy’ music again. I never stopped really, but lately I haven’t had anything that I really felt like listening to. I browsed through the gigs of songs that we keep on the server at work and nothing interested me, so I picked stuff more as background noise [...]
MotoGP opening race this Sunday @ noon! Anyone wanna come out and watch with me? We’re cheering the Americans on while keeping a leery eye on a few of those Italians… O.o
EDIT: Party at Jeff’s instead! Meet me there!
Here’s a song I came across while perusing www.pandora.com. I can’t remember the last time I posted a country song (or have I ever?) but this one is worth listening to. As Ray Charles said, it’s the stories that make country songs so charming.

Happy St. Patty’s Day! Pinch. So Joanna mentioned something interesting today… St. Patrick’s Day vs. Cinco De Mayo. It’s better to search for green beer than a green card! Ok maybe you had to be there, but it was funny when she said it.
My thumb has gone from a swollen purple to a puffy black. Then today the discoloration started to fade and dark red spots started to appear, as if blood vessels were popping left and right. Every few minutes I’d look down and see the splotchy area expand. Theres also a small circle of white where [...]
Just for kicks, I image-googled Vermillion and somehow came across this. Go figure. Sometimes you expect to find one thing but come across something totally unrelated but completely cool.
And typative is back! Sometimes you have to miss something before you appreciate it. This last network hiccup has spurred me to contemplate setting up a backup server to help B out, maybe even for load balancing. So damnit B, set some out some time one of these weekends so we can coordinate and get [...]
Here’s an interesting forward I got from my mom today:
I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
“Oh excuse me please” was my reply.
He said, “Please excuse me too;
I wasn’t watching for you.”
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told,
How [...]
McDonald’s cheeseburgers are the greatest. Not too big and 2 of them fill me up without making me want to puke. The tough part is avoiding those villainous fries…
Walking out of my house this morning, I was met with an invitingly crisp breeze of post-rain fresh air. The sky was the deep blue that it should be once again with billowy clouds drifting off into the far horizon. How tempted I was to call in sick and climb on my roof for some [...]
The NSR has arrived! It’s sitting in the back of the truck as we speak… my foot is twitching nervously to run home and tear it out of the crate.
Strangely enough the driver had no lift of any kind to get it down. I had to back up my truck to his, which still had [...]
